What You'll Do:

  • Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and technical standards

  • Act as the main point of contact between the client and contractors

  • Conduct regular site inspections and facilitate issue resolution

  • Maintain detailed, accurate progress reports and site documentation

  • Coordinate and attend project meetings, ensuring alignment across stakeholders

  • Monitor planning conditions and ensure timely discharge of obligations



What You Bring:

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering

  • SMSTS certification and valid CSCS card

  • NEBOSH Health & Safety Certificate (or equivalent)

  • First Aid at Work certification

  • Strong experience in delivering large-scale energy or renewables projects

  • Familiarity with DNOs, utility integration, and grid infrastructure

  • Solid understanding of planning, regulatory, and environmental compliance

  • Excellent reporting and stakeholder engagement skills



Nice to Have:

  • PRINCE2, APM, or PMP qualification

  • Experience working across public and private sector infrastructure

  • Background in community and local authority engagement

  • Knowledge of grid connection and utility coordination

Do you have a track record of delivering construction projects within the healthcare sector? If so, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Glasgow where you will have a focus on delivering capital projects for an NHS trust.
You will work on Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery under the supervision of a Associate or Director.
You will need to provide an oversight / strategic guidance/audit & review, to a portfolio of projects at any one time. At times you may also need to provide effective support to other Project Managers on larger projects.

+ Help with the delivery of Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
+ Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
+ Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
+ Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
+ Ensure strong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional team
+ Interface with AECOM clients (New and Existing)
+ Providing effective support to Assistant/Graduate Project Managers.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Professional Qualification - ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Master's Degree
+ You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to successfully support and lead construction projects.
+ Excellent communication and organisational skills
+ NEC Contract Administration within a live project environment (Accreditation a positive)
+ Prior experience or exposure to healthcare construction projects.
+ Maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic)
+ Robust Stakeholder Management process
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Chartered Status or working towards Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution

_Here's what we're looking for:_
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ You will ideally be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to successfully support and lead construction projects within the Commercial and Residential sectors.
+ Pre and post contract design /project management expertise over the RIBA lifecycle
+ Excellent communication and organisational skills
+ SBCC Contract Administration
+ Maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic)
+ Robust Stakeholder Management process
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Academic Qualification - ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree
+ Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution
+ APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)
