As a Content Designer, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the language and user experience across our platform. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure our content is clear, consistent, and user-centred—helping people feel confident about their money.

You'll be responsible for designing content that simplifies complex financial topics, supports product functionality, and enhances every stage of the user journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating and maintaining user-focused content across our web app, onboarding flows, help centre, and comms
  • li>Translating financial and technical concepts into plain English that resonates with our users
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, test and deliver new product features
  • Contributing to content standards, tone of voice, and style guidelines
  • Using analytics, customer feedback, and user testing to improve and iterate content
  • Supporting product marketing and internal teams with microcopy, tooltips, in-app guidance, and more
About You:
  • Proven experience as a content designer, UX writer, or digital copywriter, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content structuring skills
  • Comfortable working with complex topics (especially financial or technical content)
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
  • Experience working in Agile teams with designers and developers
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Notion, or similar design/documentation platforms

**Your role and responsibilities**
Content designers create and deliver user-centred content solutions throughout an end-to-end product or service. They use evidence and research to guide people and help them advance in their next steps to achieve their goals.
We are looking for a Content Designer to join an agile scrum team. The role will involve:
* Modelling and formatting content into viable, feasible, and desirable solutions
* Researching and studying the subject and context to inform content; Writing, curating, and editing content for accuracy, clarity, and usability;

* Creating content that drives user actions based on agreed requirements and research;

**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Ability to create and communicate meaning throughout product or service experiences for users and customers;

We have a 6 month fixed term role as a Digital PR & Content Assistant - a great opportunity to learn in a busy digital marketing agency, with the potential for the role to become permanent at the end of the six months if there is a capacity requirement.


This is a hands-on role that sits across our SEO & Digital PR team and will see you work across campaigns to land client coverage and links straight from the start, in addition to creating effective content for client’s websites, social media campaigns and the Cedarwood website.


Essentially, you’ll be creating engaging stories based around our clients and their products to attract media attention. So, an eye for a good story and a thirst to get your clients featured in top newspapers and magazines is essential.


This role promises tonnes of variety, with no two days looking the same. From sending out Christmas trees for journalists to review to working with a legal client to analyse Coronation Street storylines, this is a varied role that is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment & has good analytical skills. On top of good analytical skills, you’ll have good written and verbal skills, as well as good organisation skills in order to manage media lists and our journalist database, you'll also be able to keep on top of admin-related tasks such as updating these lists & databases when required.

  • Monitor media trends and tap into these when relevant to secure coverage - both proactive and reactive newsjacking
