We are looking for 360 drivers for a recycling project in LEEDS starting 30th June

• £13.22 per hour

• Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) safely and efficiently – Counterbalance
• Load and unload deliveries from vehicles and trailers in a timely manner.
• Safely stack and store goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Work closely with incoming and outgoing drivers, ensuring paperwork is completed and goods are checked.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Use of warehouse systems or scanners (as applicable) to log stock movements.
• Ensure working areas are clean, tidy, and comply with health and safety standards.
• Support other general warehouse duties when required (e.g., picking, packing, pallet wrapping).

• Valid FLT license (Counterbalance and/or Reach) – in date and accredited.
• Previous experience in a similar FLT or warehouse role.
• Comfortable working rotating shifts (6-2 / 2-10).
• Good communication skills and ability to work with delivery drivers and warehouse team.
• Attention to detail, especially when checking goods and completing paperwork.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience in a logistics, manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Flexibility for occasional overtime or weekend work.

Warehouse / FLT Drivers

Pay: 12.21 - 13.50p/h

Hours: Various hours available. Shift patterns and day shifts.

Job Type: We have Temporary and Permanent work available.

Stafflex are currently recruiting for FLT Driver's. We have a number of established clients based around the Huddersfield area with various different roles.

Duties can include:

• Operating Fork Lift Trucks - Counterbalance / Reach / Flexi / Bendi / Sideloader / VNA
• Loading / unloading
• Palletising
• Picking and packing
• Completing paperwork
• Data input
• Using bespoke warehouse systems to document goods in / goods out

***These roles are not solely FLT driving and do require assistance with manual warehousing tasks as outlined above.***

Requirements:

• All applicants must hold a valid and in date FLT licence / certificate - ideally RTITB or ITSAAR.

Trinity Business Support are supporting a high-profile client in the Wakefield area who are one of the largest 3PL suppliers in the UK, we are assisting them in their search for flexi/bendi/narrow aisle FLT drivers.

Applicants with an external or in-house flexi/bendi or reach licence and previous experience would be considered, pending an assessment on-site.

Duties & Reasonability's

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from lorries, ensuring proper placement and securing of loads.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bendi Flexi/Counterbalance Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
• Basic maths skills for accurate inventory management and record keeping.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, including moving loads of up to 25kg or more.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Shifts & Pay

• 4on 4off Shift Patterns
• Fixed shifts either days or nights 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am.
• 14.41ph Days or 15.20ph Nights
• Weekly Pay

Please note for the successful applicants it will be a 12-week temp to perm which you will be paid weekly through Trinity Business Support. After this period you will transfer to the client full-time and you will be paid monthly.
