My client, a manufacturing company based in the Pershore area is looking to recruit a Factory Operative on a Temp to Perm basis

The hours required are 48 per week, rotating between (Apply online only) and (Apply online only)

The main responsibilities of the role include

- Prepare items for packing and dispatch
- Ensuring that the area, equipment and machinery are kept clean and tidy at all times
- General duties to enable production facilities to run as efficiently as possible

As a suitable candidates

- Willingness to take a flexible approach to work and carrying out various tasks.
- meticulous attention to detail
- Exposure to working within a factory environment
- Ability to remain calm when working under pressure
- Fork lift truck and UK Driving license is an advantage

The pay-rate on offer is 12.21 an hour

Job Overview
Prodrive Recruitment Ltd are seeking experienced Factory Operatives to join our clients team to assist with the cleansing of glass products prior to firing process.

This role is vital to the manufacturing process and can make the difference between a succesful order run or a quality control rejection.

Candidates must be"nimble-fingered" and be methodical with processes, to avoid breakages and ensure quality - preference will be given to female candidates

Responsibilities

  • The role at first will be hands on learning on how the various products are handled and processed through the working area ready to be loaded into the ovens.
    • li>To work with other team members and supervisors to ensure that the correct work is moved through in accordance with customer orders.
  • To support other team members or areas of the company as required or directed.
  • The operation of the auto glazer, loading – unloading and inspection of finished product.
    • < i>The inspection and packing of the cutting line track.
  • Packing of finished product for despatch to customer.
  • To keep the working area clean and tidy

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing/industrial environment is essential.
  • Good attention to detail and logic, an understanding of working to tight quality standards and tolerances
  • A natural desire for continuous improvement with a right first-time attitude.

Excellent organisational skills to manage time effectively.

  • The ability to work under your own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
