Family Support Worker – Residential Family Services

The Family Support Worker will work directly with the families, assessing and implementing placement plans, in order to promote, strengthen and to develop parenting skills and to promote the welfare of the child at all times.  This role will require working hours over a 7 day week on a rota due to it being based in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

Working with families:
- In line with placement plans, provide families with support on every aspect of daily life, health and well-being to include
- Basic baby care, feeding and eating, sleeping, budgeting, safety, discipline, health eating, healthy lifestyles and choices.
- To participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of individual families` placement and assessment plans.
- To undertake key work sessions as directed by the Case Manager.
