Position Overview: We're hiring a skilled Legal Secretary/Assistant to support a partner and solicitor in child and family care cases. You'll manage legal documents, schedules, and client communications. This role offers full-time hours in a supportive team environment. The hours of work is Monday to Friday, 9-5, all on-site in the offices in Caerphilly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing legal documents and using Osprey Case Management software.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings, and communicate with clients professionally.
  • Transcribe legal correspondence accurately using digital dictation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong IT skills, including fast typing (70 - 80 wpm).


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in legal support, preferably in child and family care cases.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital dictation and Microsoft Office.
  • Typing speed of 70 - 80 wpm.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.


Work Environment and Benefits:

  • Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
