**Team/Role Overview**
Citi Legal are looking for a Legal Technology Analyst to join our talented department of legal professionals in our Belfast Global Legal Office. Citi Legal support Citi international offices in a variety of specialised areas to ensure long-term growth and efficient functioning of the company. As a Legal Technology Analyst, you will be part of a dedicated team of professionals that support Citi and our profitability, stability and growth. Most importantly, you will support a global business with various products and services across multiple geographies.
Introducing new talent helps us stay enthusiastic, navigate change and bring fresh ways of thinking to the organization. We have designed a placement which enables those who have completed the Law and Computing Masters to gain valuable experience in the emerging world of legal technology and its application in a large global in-house legal department.
**What you'll do**
+ Assist with the gathering of business requirements for the implementation/ enhancements required for technology tools in conjunction with subject matter experts
+ Update knowhow and user manuals for each technology tool post each new release
+ Perform user acceptance testing prior to new software releases and collate Legal users feedback
+ Help with the ongoing rollout of each new legal technology tool to other Legal teams (including but not limited to Germany, France, USA, Singapore and Mumbai)
+ Keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments which impact Legal technology tools
+ Partner with colleagues in the other regions to ensure global consistency
**What we'll need from you**
Strong academic credentials: currently completing the LLM Masters in Corporate Law, Computing and Innovation degree with Ulster University. Extensive work experience is not a requirement, but a true passion for the application of technology in the field of legal services is vital.
+ Be capable of thinking logically and be good at problem solving
+ Be comfortable using new software applications
+ Have an interest in systems and processes, and in thinking about how they can be changed and improved
+ Be naturally curious to understand how things work
+ Have strong attention to detail
+ Be able to interact well with subject matter experts such as lawyers or technologists and extract relevant information from both
+ Be equipped to communicate clearly and succinctly
+ Have an unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making

**Role Overview:**
The HR Business Partner is a senior level position responsible for leading the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Human Resources team. The overall objective of this role is to provide a broad range of HR services to client groups within Citi.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced HR team on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This will allow the candidate the opportunity to build experience and exposure in a large global organisation.
**What you'll do:**
+ Deliver HR services and build capabilities to drive organizational performance through individuals and managers as well as identify issues and recommend solutions
+ Responsible for HR delivery and implementation across the employee lifecycle
+ Partner with business managers to resolve Employee Relations (ER) issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and risks are assessed
+ Partner with Human Resource Advisors (HRAs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs) on HR priorities in respective client populations to ensure delivery and implementation of HR solutions
+ Coordinate and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of global priorities and life cycle processes
+ Work with HRA global partners and regional HR Generalists to ensure consistent communication and delivery of HR solutions and processes
+ Coordinate and consult with country HR partners to deliver regional activities
+ Lead and/or initiate cross Citi projects as well as train new team members
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**What we'll need from you:**
+ Several years of relevant experience
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
+ Working knowledge of HR functions
+ Working knowledge of applicable US laws
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Master's degree preferred

Markets Operations Technology is part of Citi Markets Technology and provides foundational Post Trade activities for Markets. We own platforms across Trade Management, Settlement, Payments, Confirmations, Asset Servicing, Margin & Reporting across all business lines and asset classes. Ours is a global remit and organisation providing mission critical platforms that face internal and external clients.
A Business Analyst is required to drive requirements, design and implementation for critical cross functional changes impacting our Markets Operations partners. This exciting role will blend a mix of technical knowledge, detailed analysis, problem solving and communication skills to drive activity at pace whilst identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
Our team focuses on Data and Controls linked Citi wide Transformation commitments and therefore requires a focused and diligent individual who can challenge and drive business outcomes. We are execution focused and responsible for deliverables across multiple teams and geographies.
**Role Overview/What will you do:**
This role will manage requirements, dependencies, communication and engagement across multiple areas to define and drive a holistic solution. An ability to quickly grasp detail is essential. Our stakeholders and partners are based at Citi sites globally.
Core activities will be to:
+ Requirements Elicitation: Gather and analyze business requirements, translating objectives into tangible deliverables and measurable outcomes. Focus on understanding the "why" behind requests and provide credible challenge using subject matter and industry expertise. Partner with our application teams to design solutions that can be delivered effectively
+ Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between current and desired business processes, proposing solutions that drive improvements and with consideration of upstream/downstream and data impacts
+ Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on desired business outcomes and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
+ Change Management: Support change management activities, focusing on user adoption and realizing the intended business outcomes of the new processes or systems
+ Data Analysis: Analyze data to validate and prioritize requirements and provide insights that contribute to business outcomes. Track key metrics and report on progress toward goals
+ Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain documentation related to projects, processes, and achieved business outcomes
**Key Skills and Experience required:**
This role is varied and will provide exposure to different parts of our Markets business for ongoing career development. To get started we are looking for:
+ Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a demonstrable track record of delivering projects that achieve measurable business outcomes. Project experience in Financial Services domain
+ Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think critically and strategically about how solutions contribute to business outcomes
+ Data Skills: Demonstrable experience in working with large data sets in Excel or more advanced tools and ability to drive insights from data
+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, connecting technical solutions to business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences
+ Technical Skills: This role sits within Citi Technology and the ability to think, design and communicate in a way that considers solution Engineering is important
+ Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
**Any Beneficial / Nice to have skills and experience:**
An outstanding candidate would also have exposure to:
+ Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software tools and techniques, including requirements management tools, modelling tools (e.g., Visio), and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL). Proficiency in Python and SQL is highly beneficial. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
+ Domain Expertise: Knowledge of Markets and wider-Banking domains is highly desirable. Understanding of how technology solutions impact business outcomes within these domains a is plus.
