An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Maintenance Professional to support BAE Systems at their Samlesbury site. The role is working in a busy team in a fast-paced environment and the successful candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines.
Typical duties will involve;
- Ensuring Critical components are delivered to the output plans schedule from the BAES Factory to the various Typhoon Customers
- Liaising with the Factory planning team to understand scheduling constraints
- Point of contact for the Transportation hub regards movement in and out of the facility for priority and critical parts, for Factory
- Assisting the Modifications and Safety Technical Orders (SRTOS) team with order management and completion of individual kits, to the point of delivery to Customer Assisting the Query Management Team (QMT)
- Providing data to assist in the compilation of management reports
- Coordinate the resolution of arising issues impacting delivery to the output plan
- Assisting the team leader and management as required
- Ensuring relevant databases remain topical
- Attending meetings and providing update to the Order Book management teams
The successful applicant will have a professional understanding of Order Book Management structures and processes and be well versed in multi-functional team cooperation. Recent experience within a Supply Chain Order Management support role is required with an overall understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain process.
Skills required;
- High level of exposure to and understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Good Analytical skills
- Able to build good relationships with customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders
- Accomplished communication skills
- Understanding a basic level presentation compilation
A recognised qualification to NVQ3/Level 3 in a relevant discipline is preferred but not essential.
