Responsibilities
- Drive lean manufacturing principles including input into production Kaizen activities
- Optimising manufacturing process, participating in RCA and corrective actions as required, and participating in process and equipment risk assessment reviews.
- Ensure that tooling, gauging & quality requirements are considered early in the NPI process.
- To assist in the preparation of production cost estimates and resource models.
- Supplier auditing, support and development.
- To plan, organise and control Engineering resources in order to meet manufacturing and project requirements.
Requirements
- HNC/HND/Degree in an engineering bias
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

This role will commence on a temporary basis but upon successful completion of this period will transfer to a permanent position.
This is working 12-hour shifts the back end of the week only, working a rotation of.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday dayshift 6.00am-6.00pm for 4 weeks.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday nightshift 6.00pm-6.00am for 4 weeks.
Duties of the role:
- To implement and monitor quality control procedures
- Ensure correct paperwork/security tags on incoming deliveries prior to offload
- Analyse samples to conform to EU regulations as well as customer specifications
- Monitoring of storage
- Ensure product is acceptable for packaging

- Routine laboratory testing

- You must be 18 years old and above due to nature of work and shift patterns
