Summary 

We are seeking a talented Email Marketing Specialist to join the Midnight team at IOG. Midnight is a regulatory-friendly data protection-based blockchain that safeguards sensitive commercial and personal data, protecting fundamental freedoms of association, commerce, and expression for developers, companies, and individuals. Midnight utilizes a novel data protection-first programming model and ZK proofs.

As Email Marketing Specialist, you will support email marketing campaigns, manage workflows for outbound communications with our developer community and create inbound demand generation from prospective partners. You will use your marketing automation expertise and demand generation experience to help build, execute, and manage multi-channel programs.

We are looking for an analytical and creative individual who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various internal and external teams. Current knowledge of HubSpot or other CRM systems best practices and techniques is essential to this role. 

Duties

Strategy & Planning

  • Establish strategies and priorities for the development and enhancement of email communications
  • Work with the marketing team to define content for email templates, inbound workflows, landing pages and community newsletters.
  • Building and updating global programs; this includes lead management processes, data normalization and other operational projects as needed

Email Execution & Performance Testing

  • Execute automated HubSpot email and multi-channel campaigns through CRM(s)
  • Run A/B and multivariate testing; analyze campaign results, help develop benchmarks, and report on performance
  • Partner with creative services to optimize and test email design, copy and workflows.

CRM Data Management

  • Segmenting and analyzing the prospect database to support campaigns
  • Enforce compliance guidelines and policies globally such as GDPR
  • Maintenance of HubSpot marketing dashboards and campaign reporting
  • Keeping CRM contact data, lists and permissions in HubSpot clean and up to date

Requirements

  • Have a keen interest in Blockchain technology developments, trends in Web3, and market/competitive developments in this space.Embodies flexibility, transparency, and ownership over responsibilities
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, professional image of the organization
  • Ability to lead and participate in special projects
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost level of professionalism
  • Performs well on cross-functional project teams and with external vendors
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A strong team player, results oriented, metrics driven and capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment.

Education and Experience 

  • 3+ years experience in an email marketing role
  • Experience using HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub
  • Proficient operational knowledge of email marketing and marketing automation technology
  • Has basic knowledge of web development and/or email development (including HTML/CSS) and able to use design software at a basic level
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, and comfortable presenting work.
