Are you a Parts Advisor or similar with a background in the automotive industry looking to step into a stable role within a market leading company who can provide training on parts and processes, the opportunity for progression and a bonus scheme to boost earnings?

On offer is the opportunity to join a leading provider of automotive parts who supply a wide variety of products from some of the biggest manufacturers in the world to businesses all over the UK.

This role will involve speaking to customers either over the counter or on the phone regarding parts they are looking to purchase. You will speak to them about there needs and advise them which parts they require and upsell them on other ranges. You will also be helping out with other tasks around the branch.

This role would suit a Parts Advisor or similar who comes from an Automotive background looking to join a market leading company that can provide them with paths for progression, set training plans and a host of company benefits including a bonus scheme.

The Role

My client is a leading supplier of vehicle parts to customers all over the UK and internationally. They are looking for someone to join their customer support team to provide customers with technical information to help them understand which products they need. If you've got a good knowledge of car parts and have worked in a customer focused environment this is a brilliant opportunity to start building a career with a fantastic company!

The Role:

  • Based from their distribution centre offices in Markham Vale, you'll be working alongside the internal and external sales teams to give customers technical support through incoming calls.
  • Your role is to provide customers with information on parts options or variations as required. You'll increase their understanding of specific products and build relationships which will ultimately increase sales.
  • You'll use electronic catalogues and an internal database to help identify the correct part for a customer requirement or problem.
  • As well as supporting the customer, you'll also support the sales team with any technical queries or problems.
  • Once parts have been supplied you'll also investigate customer queries regarding application, fitting and operation of those parts.


The Person:

  • We're looking for someone with a good understanding of vehicles and technical knowledge of car parts.
  • You'll have great communication skills, both verbal and written and will be comfortable with Microsoft Office IT packages.
  • Any experience working in the automotive aftermarket would be a real advantage but isn't essential.


The Package:

  • A basic salary between 25,000 and 26,000 is offered depending on experience
  • There is an annual bonus scheme which would start to accrue after your probation period is complete
