We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Tools Support Engineer to join our team. This role combines traditional L2 support responsibilities with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our critical DevOps toolchain, including emerging Generative AI (GenAI) tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ The Application Support Senior Analyst provides technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. This includes providing quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed.
+ Provide timely and effective technical support for end users of a designated set of DevOps tools, encompassing traditional tools (e.g., CI/CD platforms, monitoring and observability tools, source code management systems) and GenAI-powered tools.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving in-depth analysis of logs, configurations, system behaviour.
+ Proactively monitor the health, performance, and reliability of supported tools, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact users.
+ Participate in incident response, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures to minimize future occurrences across the Supported tools.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks, to empower self-service and knowledge sharing.
+ Collaborate effectively with engineering teams and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and knowledge transfer.
+ Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system visibility and proactive issue detection for all supported tools.
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of supported tools and processes, identifying opportunities for automation, self-healing, and enhanced reliability, specifically exploring the potential of GenAI for automation and optimization.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams on the design, implementation, and support of new tools and features, advocating for supportability and operational excellence, with a focus on integrating into support model effectively.
+ Ensures essential procedures are followed and helps to define operating standards and processes.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Experience in an Application Support role with Good all-round technical skills
+ Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
+ Issue tracking and reporting using tools eg. ServiceNow
+ Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.
+ Proven experience in a technical support or SRE role, preferably supporting DevOps tools and technologies. Experience with GenAI or Machine Learning tools is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
+ Hands-on experience with common DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, uDeploy, Harness, Git, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar. Experience with GenAI tools and platforms is a plus.
+ Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of GenAI tools.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

**Role Overview**
Serves as a compliance risk analyst for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM)'s Surveillance team responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight for a suite of surveillances designed to detect behaviors that may violate regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures. When potentially anomalous behavior is detected, the team is responsible for escalating the activity and working collaboratively with partners across the first and second lines of defense to determine the appropriate resolution of the matter, which may include employee discipline. . The ICRM Global Surveillance platform encompasses a number of surveillance related portfolios including trade surveillance, e-communications and voice surveillance, employee trading, outside activities surveillance, and information barrier surveillance.
**What you'll do**
+ Reviewing and analyzing surveillance alerts and/or reports relating to firm, employee and client trading activity. Properly documenting the review and disposition of the exceptions as well as escalating matters appropriately.
+ Gathering and analyzing trade data to assist in the Firm's response to inquiries received from governmental and exchange regulatory bodies. Additionally, supporting the compliance group in evaluating surveillance results for potential problems, communicating surveillance findings to management in a clear and concise manner as well as interacting with legal and other compliance personnel.
+ Responding to inquiries or requests from internal partners (e.g. ICRM Assurance, Internal Audit, Legal).
+ Assisting with the design and implementation of new surveillances as well as the refinement of existing ones. Interacting with IT on the specific design and testing of new surveillances.
+ Additional activities including handling telephone hotlines and performing data entry in various systems.
+ Additional duties as assigned.
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

The MCA Quality Assurance team is an integral part of the Central Controls MCA team that owns the enterprise-wide framework and execution of Manager Control Assessment program. The purpose of the MCA Quality Assurance team is to drive quality into the MCA program to ensure management can rely on MCA insight as the underlying data is timely, accurate and complete.
This role will be part of a growing global team within Central Controls who are responsible for executing quality assurance reviews over the MCA enterprise wide and will:
· Challenge the quality of MCA policy, standard, procedures and practices;
· Verify that established standards and processes are followed and consistently applied;
· Validate the usage and mapping of non-MCA data sources in MCA;
· Recommend actions that address the root cause of identified operational weaknesses in order to prevent recurrence by changing design and/ or execution; and,
· Identify execution errors for prioritized remediation.
**Responsibilities:**
+ You will work on all phases of Quality Assurance Review across all Business and Functions, with tasks including:
+ Provide basic support with drafting of QA Review scripts including documenting scope and sampling approach.
+ Support the collation of data required for a QA Review.
+ Follow QA Review script across all in scope Businesses and Functions, and gather evidence for areas of concern.
+ Participate in identifying common themes and conduct root cause analysis with recommended mitigation.
+ Provide status updates on reviews and escalate concerns timely to QA manager or lead.
+ Maintain detailed and organized documentation of work product.

Serves as a senior compliance risk analyst for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes related to monitoring and fostering awareness of sanctions regulatory requirements that Citi must comply with; assessing related sanctions risk exposure, overseeing the quality of sanctions control processes and setting global standards to manage and mitigate those sanctions risks and protect the franchise. In addition, provides support for the collation of potential breaches of sanctions from across the firm and work with contacts in the Business and Compliance to ensure consistent and effective application and implementation of, and controls to evidence adherence to, relevant sanctions related global standards, policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Analyzing comparative data, preparing and presenting regional and global reports related to sanctions risk assessments, and monitoring of sanctions related issues and escalations with senior management and global partners.
+ Supporting a specialized team of Independent Compliance Risk (ICRM) officers responsible for program execution activities.
+ Contributing to the design and maintenance of a comprehensive written ICRM Sanctions Framework (standards and policies).
+ Partnering with functional partners and key stakeholders - regionally and globally, as applicable, to ensure potential risks are identified during due diligence, or escalated on an ad hoc basis, are appropriately vetted and addressed. Identifying and escalating to the Chief Sanctions Officer material risks and significant instances of not adherence to the Framework by accountable front line units; directs investigations in coordination with GIU, CSIS, Legal, HR, or as appropriate.
+ Monitoring adherence to Citi's Global Sanctions Policy and relevant procedures; staying current on key Sanctions regulatory changes, key enforcement actions and related industry trends.
+ Overseeing adherence to procedures and processes, to ensure compliance with policies ensuring that front line units meet required standards.
+ Interacting with relevant teams to raise awareness of Sanctions trends, emerging issues, remedial actions or enhancements to the program.
+ Supporting efforts in connection Internal Audit and functional regulators in Program exams and evaluations; tracks and challenges remedial actions from the front line units.
