As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering complex smart technology projects, ensuring seamless integration of systems like structured cabling, CCTV, access control, AV, and IoT across the airport estate. You’ll oversee the entire project lifecycle—from planning and client liaison to delivery and final handover.

To be considered for this project manager role you will need to have

  • ECS Card & SMSTS Certification
  • A full, clean UK Driving Licence
  • Proven experience managing structured cabling or smart systems projects.
  • Strong knowledge of copper/fibre installations, networking, AV systems, CCTV, and access control.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Project).
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and deadlines effectively in complex environments.

A PRINCE2 or APM certification would be desirable as would be PASMA/IPAF  and First Aid at Work certifications

Key Responsibilities will include:

Project Delivery

  • Lead multiple tech & infrastructure projects, including structured cabling, CCTV, AV systems, and IoT.
  • Conduct site surveys, manage budgets, and track project progress against deadlines.
  • Ensure H&S compliance, quality standards, and client satisfaction through regular site reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for design, technical compliance, and commissioning.
  • Deliver detailed documentation, including O&M records and test results.

Team & Site Management

  • Coordinate on-site installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Monitor and enforce H&S standards, including RAMS and PPE protocols.
  • Manage material procurement, storage, and waste compliance across projects.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Airport IT and business representatives.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and manage escalations effectively.
  • Provide strategic guidance, ensuring client needs are met with high standards of professionalism.
