Who we are looking for

A Senior Business Systems Developer, who will enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy, implementing Google Tag Manager (GTM) for Google Ads tracking and integrating systems.


You will be a skilled and experienced individual to contribute to key initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance across our digital and financial systems.


This role will involve tasks such as implementing GTM for enhanced Google Ads conversion tracking, website development and integrating various platform and systems.


You will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work alone or collaboratively with various teams.


This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.


Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience with GTM implementation and configuration, including conversion tracking and tag management.
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with data integration projects, particularly between SaaS platforms and finance systems.
  • Knowledge of API-based data transfer methods.
  • Familiarity with financial systems, such as Sage 50.
  • Experience of AWS or other Cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with data security and process ownership principles.


Main Responsibilities

  • Automating data collection for precise Google Ads performance measurement.
  • Implementing and configuring GTM conversion tracking to accurately capture online purchase data.
  • Collaborating with third parties to ensure seamless integration and accurate tracking.
  • Testing and validation of GTM setup to ensure accurate data capture and reporting in Google Ads.
  • Developing and implementing pre-built, easy to maintain HTML templates for communications.
  • Offering ongoing support and documentation to enable self-sufficiency in template maintenance.
  • Automating the transfer of data from several systems to Sage 50, ensuring compliance with legislation.
