Location : London, E1 1RH.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.

What are we looking for

The Wild is on the hunt for a Senior Social Strategist who lives and breathes social, understands culture inside out, and knows how to turn insights into thumb-stopping, fame-driving ideas.

Who You Are

A strategic thinker who understands what makes social tick, from emerging trends to platform algorithms and community behaviours. Experienced in shaping strategies that don’t just look great on a deck but actually work, driving engagement, growth, and business impact. Confident leading clients and internal teams, able to sell in big ideas, challenge thinking, and collaborate to make great work happen. Deeply immersed in social and cultural trends, with a strong instinct for what will gain traction online.

A mix of creative and commercial — you know how to turn insights into bold, social-first ideas and can measure their success in ways that matter to brands.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, social-first agency environment where no two days are the same.

What You Bring

5+ years’ experience in a social-first or digital agency, with a proven track record of delivering effective social strategies. Deep understanding of social platforms, content formats, and emerging trends, particularly across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Snapchat, with a strong grasp of algorithm shifts, audience behaviors, and platform best practices.

Strong analytical skills that enable you to interpret data and performance metrics to inform strategy and storytelling. Experience leading creative brainstorms and briefing teams to bring big ideas to life. A strong point of view on what makes great social content and the ability to push work to be bolder and braver.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — able to craft decks that get to the point and present them with confidence. Experience in FMCG, entertainment, or beauty brands is a bonus but not essential.

What You’ll Do

Develop and lead standout social strategies across a range of clients, turning audience insights, platform expertise, and brand objectives into compelling creative directions. Partner with creative, production, and client teams to ensure strategy is at the heart of our work, from campaign launches to always-on content. Guide brands through the ever-changing social landscape, offering smart strategic recommendations on new opportunities and how they can make an impact. Work closely with the Strategy Director to evolve and refine The Wild’s strategic products, helping shape best practices and innovative approaches. Build relationships with clients, confidently presenting ideas and making the complex simple.

Mentor and support junior social talent in the agency, helping elevate platform knowledge and execution across the board.

socialed is a fast-growing social and video production agency based in London, creating content and social strategies for ambitious brands in the lifestyle and luxury space. We are going through an exciting growth phase and are seeking a social media executive and strategist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be a creative, out-the-box thinker, who is chronically online and well-versed in algorithms & platforms. This role allows for a lot of progression as the agency grows, so we're looking for someone keen to learn and grow. Previous agency experience is a bonus, but we’re very focussed on quality of work and ability to collaborate with our wider team.


Role Description

  • Creative strategy and ideation for current and future clients, in the form of strategy decks, whilst also supporting on director treatments and pitch proposals.
  • Strategy development for social media and content clients, from brief stage through to full strategy development and re-strategy.
  • Managing social channels for a range of FMCG & luxury brands including Berkeley Group, AirX Private Charter, Gett and many more.
  • Activating partnerships with influencers / creators to increase reach of our brands and drive tangible results.
  • On-set support with production team to see ideas carry through to execution.
  • Client liaison & project management to ensure a high quality, efficient workflow & client success.
  • Lead on strategy & reporting meetings directly with clients on a monthly basis, crafting performance reports month to month.
  • Support and management of company brand profiles, including supporting in the creation of our vlog series, launching in March.


Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of social channels, algorithms and proven record of community management (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest & YouTube).
  • Good graphic design skills and ability to curate an on-brand & on-trend social ecosystem.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively and professionally.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Experience in influencer marketing is ideal in this position.


Candidate Profile

A suitable candidate will be competent based on the description, potentially more importantly an ambitious, confident and eager to learn individual. We’re not looking for the finished product instead someone looking to find a new home, to grow and, at the same time, contribute to our mutual success. We’re open to new graduates or those who are seeking professional experience in lieu of a formal degree.


Salary range: £30-32k per annum. Beginning June 2025.
