We are working with a unique manufacturing organisation to support with the recruitment of a Supply Chain Coordinator. This is an exciting time to join the organisation and progress within your career.
This role plays a pivotal part within the business and is responsible for the supplier relationships.
Our client works on a 4 day working week Monday - Thursday with working hours of 6:30am - 4.20pm.

Key responsibilities for the Supply Chain Coordinator:
- Researching new vendors/suppliers for niche products and negotiating on pricing
- Managing existing and new supplier relationships with face to face visits, investigating order delays, faulty products and audits
- Managing inventory/stock levels and forecasting future needs
- Travelling to supplier sites 2/3 times a week to maintain relationships
- Reviewing current processes and suggesting improvements

Key Skills for the Supply Chain Coordinator:
- Previous experience within a supply chain/ purchasing role
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong relationship building skills
- Drivers License and access to own vehicle

This Friday to Monday Supply Chain Coordinator opportunity offers a varied portfolio of responsibilities to include;

  • Manage product storage, inventory, packing & distribution.
  • li>Responsible for administering inventory ordering, procurement and supporting profitability.
  • Helping maintain customer forecasts ensuring forecast accuracy whilst keeping an accurate record of the inventory.
  • Communicate and maintain the coordinated sourcing mission and strategy.
  • Work closely with the sales / supply chain teams to ensure all sales volumes are supplied and pre-planned accounting for any external factors such as vessel changes.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse team to manage stock arrivals and the safe storage of stock

We require;
Previous experience within a similar key support role, with exposure to stock Management systems or ERP, examples Prophet
Stock Planning and Supply Chain experience within Fresh Produce is ideal
Attention to detail, with excellent IT and numeracy skills; Microsoft, Excel
Confident ability to work with all colleagues at all levels positively

Salary; up to £28k
Location: Kent
Hours - Friday to Monday
