What you’ll bring
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading logistics operations, ideally in a chemical or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of DGSA and SHE compliance
  • Confident line management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives
  • SAP experience and a data-driven mindset

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead a multifunctional team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a unique opportunity to embed supply chain excellence at the heart of a global organisation known for innovation and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Manager you'll take a hands-on approach to evaluating the product lines, always looking for ways to boost capacity, improve service levels and shorten delivery times. You'll be the vital connection across the entire supply chain-from raw materials through to production, packing, and transportation.

You'll lead the monthly supply reviews, helping to guide strategic decisions and manage any challenges that arise. At the same time, you'll oversee the weekly planning process, ensuring it stays responsive to seasonal shifts and evolving customer needs.

Reducing stock at risk will be a key focus and you'll be expected to drive initiatives that not only identify issues but also ensure follow-through on corrective actions. Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain management within FMCG, high volume or aerospace sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading multifunctional teams in a high-speed business environment.
  • Strong background in change management and navigating complex business operations.

Purpose

To meet all regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to ISO9001, ISO14001, cGMP and relevant dispatch

and transport regulations.


Meet the OTIF performance targets agreed with internal and external customers, with respect to timely preparation

and dispatch of product shipments.


To coordinate inward process relief (IPR) system within the Supply Chain team and report to Supply Chain Supervisor.


Control raw material supplier qualification system and report back to Supply Chain team

Main Tasks and Responsibilities


Ensure that all Environment, Health & Safety requirements are met including (but not limited to) workplace organisation, work instructions, risk assessments, permit issuing and control, COSHH assessments, housekeeping standards, and operating within the environmental permit. n Provision of all documentation to facilitate sales and sample shipments leaving site. n Organisation of all modes of transport, Road, Sea, Air for shipments together with raising corresponding orders and invoices.

Maintain records of shipments and costs. Regularly review suppliers’ performance and costs to ensure optimum value for the business.


Close liaison with Production, Projects, Sales, and Quality Departments to ensure shipments leave site when required. n Ensure compliance with relevant Work Instructions and procedures. n Inform departments of any changes to transport regulations which impact on the business. n Provide cover in the absence of Supply Chain Supervisor.


Any other tasks that are commensurate within the Supply Chain.

Communication n Excellent confident and clear communication skills required between internal and external customers/suppliers
