Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our wonderful SEN school camps and after school club. As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with the children to provide social, emotional, and physical support.
Hours: 10am till 3:00pm - Tuesday and Thursday – Times may vary
Weekend Hours: 10am till 3:30pm
School Holidays: 9am till 3:30pm – Times May Vary
Salary: £80 - £100 Per Day - Depending on Experience
Responsibilities :
- Assist teachers in implementing educational activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD or other learning disabilities
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain an organized setting
- Support students during activities, ensuring their engagement and participation
- Help students with daily tasks such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor student behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress

- Be enthusiastic, and want to work with SEN children
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school or childcare setting
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies is preferred
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
