An exciting and challenging role working in the Keysight Protocol Conformance Test team, involved in development of Keysight’s industry-leading 5G Conformance Test product. We are seeking an individual who is willing to undertake some of the dynamic challenges provided within the team. The role will provide the opportunity to:
- Gain practical software development experience, putting theory into practice across the full software development lifecycle.
- Become familiar with the 5G protocol, and with Keysight 5G Protocol Conformance Test systems
Work will be varied between project work and day-to-day activities. These will include some or all of:
- Working with experienced engineers developing new features and/or test cases for the 5G Conformance Test product
- Implementing the designs in TTCN3 and C++, and sometimes C#, as appropriate
- Debugging issues reported by customers
Essential Skills
- Currently undertaking one of the following courses; Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science oriented Degree (or equivalent).
- Some telecommunications experience
- Some software development experience
- Willing to learn a variety of programming disciplines
- Pro-active team member / problem solver and ability to communicate effectively.
Desirables
- Experience working on software and/or hardware outside the academic environment
- Experience using C#, C, C++ or Java
