Position Summary:
We're looking for an AI Data Collector to join the Appen Data Collection team for a fixed-term contract located in Birmingham, UK. The on-site location is near Aston Train Station. Postcode B6 7FH. Your job is to ensure high-quality data collection for the project. You'll work independently, engaging with recruited participants, explaining project requirements, handling data forms, and overseeing data collection sessions, mainly involving prompted actions in stationary cars. The role requires about 40 hours a week with a potential for overtime, ensuring a minimum rest time of one and a half uninterrupted days per week.

Responsibilities:
- Handle sensitive data
- Enter participant information
- Report to program and project managers
- Monitor demographic quotas
- Liaise with recruitment teams
- Interact with the public, including adults and minors
- Explain project quality requirements to participants
- Accompany participants during data collection
- Troubleshoot software/hardware issues
- Set up camera equipment in different vehicles
- Set up vehicles according to project requirements

- MUST currently be residing in the UK (United Kingdom).
- MUST be able to travel and work on-site in a facility near Aston Train Station. Postcode B6 7FH
- Fluent in English
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient in MS Office, Windows, and troubleshooting software/hardware

Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with public interactions (adults and children)
- Full UK driving license (manual and automatic) with no endorsements
- Minimum two years driving experience (Preferred)
- Experience monitoring quotas
- Ability to manage time and schedule independently
- Comfortable driving a range of rental vehicles
- Comfortable working independently

Information Security Responsibilities:
All Appen employees must adhere to the Information Security Policy compliant with BS7799-2:2005/ISO27001:2013. Training will be provided, and employees must sign an Individual User Agreement defining access rights and responsibilities. Disciplinary action may be taken against those violating access rights or contravening information security policies.
£0 - £12,480 a year
Pro-rated annual equivalent £24,960 - based on 6-month contract offering.
