Full Job Description

In the Group Protection Customer Service Representative role, you will be working with corporate companies and their adviser firms to deliver an excellent level of service, administering their policies and answering queries.

You could be perfect for this role if you have a wealth of experience in administration or similar roles, offering a fabulous service. Alternatively, you may be a university or college leaver looking to begin a career with a company that cares about its people and offers you development and the chance to work with a great team.

Reporting to: Client Service Unit Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Speak directly with our customers and identify their needs in order to provide an efficient and excellent service

  • Analyse and process data for corporate clients, to ensure timely issue of scheme accounts and invoices with accurate calculation of premium due for collection

  • Represent AIG Life to the highest of standards by achieving personal targets that contribute to the team performance

  • Be confident, enthusiastic and flexible at all times, doing what you can to help the team succeed

  • Be proactive and professional at all times by ensuring that you are busy throughout the day

  • Work within a team of likeminded people, all striving towards the same goals

  • Build and maintain relationships with our customers and, just as importantly, your colleagues

Skills and Expertise  

Essential

  • High level of curiosity and flexibility and willingness to learn new skills

  • Competent with the Microsoft Office package

  • Good written communication skills

  • A confident and friendly phone manner

Desirable

  • Group Risk experience or experience working in related fields

  • Experience working in a customer services role
