Years of Experience: Minimum 6+ with good hand on experience and technical knowledge.

Requirement fulfilment date: Preferable Immediate joiners.

My client, an innovative accelerator company specializing in digital transformation, working with a diverse range of clients is looking for a API Automation Tester/SDET with proven industry experience as across multiple projects. 3-6 month contract.

The company mission is to drive growth and success for businesses through cutting-edge technology solutions. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a API Automation Tester/SDET to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities :

· Will be working in a small team to provide QA for agile sprints.

· Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)

· Analysing business requirements to define test strategy.

· Creating and verifying defects in Jira, working with the development team to ensure an efficient resolution.

· Executing manual test runs and expanding the TestRail test assets.

· Developing and expanding the automated test cases.

· Provide documentation when required.

· Help troubleshoot issues.

Key skills and experience:

• ( API testing & UI testing skills are mandatory with hands-on experience- preferably Cypress /WebdriverIO/Selenium)
• Proven experience in an automation testing position.
• Experience of creating and maintaining automation frameworks (Cypress/ any other).
• Good knowledge of automated endpoint testing (ideally REST-assured framework).
• Good knowledge of performance testing (ideally Jmeter).
• Good knowledge using Postman tool.
• Good knowledge of BDD and TDD tools (ideally Cucumber).
• Ability to read and interpret code (Java Script/Java).
• JSON Knowledge.
• Experience of microservice testing
• Knowledge of UX/UI tests.
• Experience of working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with ticketing and workflow systems (ideally JIRA, Confluence and TestRail).
• Basic SQL ability for querying and verifying data.
