An exciting learning opportunity for a driven, organized & motivated individual to join our UK and Ireland Professional Services Practice. Delivering on our core-values of Excellence and Drive you will work with our existing functional teams to develop your own career as an Agile Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for providing project planning and management for all aspects of the development and implementation of customer solutions. They ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame, budget or specified number of sprints. They use industry expertise and methods to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management. This covers green-field implementations, upgrades, expansions of the core Avaya Aura platform, AXP and AEP cloud platforms and custom development of applications and services.
• Analyse, plan and develop scheduled
projects.
• Act as a project scrum lead – to assign and oversee
the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates
are actively working toward established milestones
• Hold
regular scrum meetings to determine progress and address any questions
or challenges regarding projects
• Work with and be supported
by Avaya SMEs for implementation planning and coordination
•
Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities
for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
•
Work with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria.
•
Liaise with 3rd parties and/or drive resolution from Avaya Support as
appropriate. Provide solutions to a diverse range of complex
problems. Liaise with Avaya Product House and Support organisations
and work as a team to deliver the final solutions.
• Provide
support and mentoring to peers and Avaya 3rd party partners
•
Support solution go-live/user migrations, usually in weekend/night
time maintenance window, and during this period manage problem
resolution
• Manage projects via the Avaya PM tools kits –
using eProject, Mavenlink, PM Binder etc…follow Agile PM
methodology.
• Own financial forecasting and revenue
responsibility related to projects. Including weekly 606 hours and 3rd
party costs forecast planning and reporting.
• Work to build
the knowledge across the team by contributing fully to internal
knowledge sharing sessions and create and share Methods of Procedure
and Guides in relation to Avaya project management.

• Hold a qualification in
Agile Project Management or related field required - Professional
Certification from accredited intuition preferred

Demonstrated understanding of Agile Project Management processes,
strategies and methods
• 2-5 yrs experience in a software
development or development operations environment.
• Excellent
time management and organizational skills and experience establishing
guidelines in these areas
• Strong sense of personal
accountability regarding decision making
• Managerial
experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving
skills
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively
head-off obstacles
• People management skills – able to
interact technically at all levels, be Influencing, persuasive,
understanding, analytical and motivated
• Track record of
success
• Exposure to the use of Cloud Services technology
specifically HCS, AWS, Azure, Google cloud desirable
• Exposure
/ knowledge of contact centres or unified communications operations
desirable
