Full Job Description

  • East Suffolk Council - Lowestoft NR33 0EQ or Melton, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 1RT
  • £26,421 - £28,770 per annum (Band 4)
  • 37 hours per week
  • Fixed Term until March 2026

We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Communities Team as a ASB Support Officer.  

Your role

The successful candidate will be required to support the effective delivery of the Council’s obligations under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, with a particular focus on Anti-Social Behaviour and, where relevant, wider Community Safety issues. You will provide effective support and efficient business, finance, and administrative duties as well as leading where necessary, on low level ASB cases.

What you will need

The post holder will have relevant experience dealing with victims and/or perpetrators of ASB and have extensive experience of dealing with a variety of administrative processes and contributing to the development of effective systems. The desirable candidate will have experience in community development / enabling community safety and ASB along with experience of working with victims and perpetrators of ASB communities, community groups and Town/Parish Councils.
