Job Role: ASD Teaching Assistant

Location: Tower Hamlets

Starting Date: Immediate

Pay Rate: £85-£90 per day

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, your role will encompass:

Personalised Support : Providing one-on-one assistance to students with ASD and complex needs, tailoring your support to address their individual requirements.

Inclusive Education : Collaborating with the school's teaching team to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, allowing students to thrive.

Communication Skills : Using your communication expertise to engage with and support students in developing their social and emotional skills.

Confidence Building : Assisting students in building their self-confidence and independence, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Empathetic Approach : Demonstrating empathy, understanding, and patience while working with students, creating a safe and nurturing space for their development.

Adaptive Strategies : Employing adaptable teaching methods to cater to the unique needs of each student, ensuring that no one is left behind.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us.
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years.
  • An Updated CV with work and/or academic history from the last 10 years.
