for an Accounts Assistant for a well-established property management
company. The role is office based in Nottingham and a salary of up to
£27,000 is available.
ROLE DETAILS
Your
role as an Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in the
day-to-day running of the accounts function, carrying out duties
related to sales and purchase ledger.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing
- Monitoring the accounts inbox, including responding and dealing with suppliers, dealing with year-end and general accounts queries.
- Creating sales invoices from worksheets including profit margins, dealing with credit notes and receivables.
- Processing supplier invoices, reconciliation of supplier statements and payables.
- Reconcile credit card statements.
- Dealing with aged creditors and debtors
REQUIRED SKILLS
The Accounts Assistant will have the majority of the following experience:
- AAT qualified or any other similar qualification
- Proven experience/knowledge of double bookkeeping and understanding how sales and purchase ledger are connected.
- Experience working with accounting systems (Xero/Sage) is preferrable
- Good knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
SALARY:
Basic salary up to £27,000
LOCATION
Office based in Nottingham.
