Accounts Payable Senior
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £30-35k plus great benefits.
 
Working for a leading and growing manufacturing company you will be responsible for the processing of the purchase invoices and ensuring costs are captured correctly and vendor accounts are reconciled each month.
 
The Accounts Payable Senior is responsible for generating the weekly payment run for approval and also reconciling the bank accounts within the accounting system.
 
This role involves assisting the Head of Finance with month end analysis and other adhoc finance duties.

Key responsibilities.
 
·Process purchase invoices in a timely manner
·Ensure vendor accounts are reconciled and kept up to date
·Process bank payments
·Process foreign payments
·Reconcile bank accounts
·Produce month end schedules and assist with accruals and prepayments
·Assist with monitoring of inventory postings
·Assist with ERP process improvements
·Process credit card transactions including prepping and sending out relevant schedules to colleagues
 
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of processing purchase invoices.
Excellent knowledge of VAT rule and have a relevant qualification such AAT, ACCA or CIMA Experience with NAV accounting software would be beneficial.
