Salary: £10.74 Per Hour

Contract: Full-time, 35.00 Hours Per Week

Shifts: Between Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

As a member of our Day Services Support Team, you will be passionate about making a difference to someone’s life. Your primary purpose will be to support people with a wide range of needs at our Day Service in Thorne. You will empower people to identify their goals, pursue interests and hobbies, support health and wellbeing, and be a part of their local community. An enthusiasm for care, and an interest in arts-based activities would be an advantage. Preferred candidates will have previous, relevant experience in a similar role.

You are experienced, compassionate, observant, and confident in leading group activities. You are empathetic, resilient, and deeply committed to assisting people with various needs who can present challenging behaviour. You are skilled in monitoring changes in mood and developing techniques to calm and de-escalate using activities. You’re able to communicate clearly and sensitively with vulnerable people and adapt to suit their needs. You are comfortable providing personal care, and always adopt a person-centred approach.

We offer full training so you will need to commit to a fully paid, full time 3-week induction.
