Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of
the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the
legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for
everyone.
Our justice system defends our fundamental rights and
freedoms. It is a cornerstone of our modern society and it must serve
all those who call on it, when they call on it. From some of the most
vulnerable people in our society, to families in crisis, claimants and
commercial businesses - HMCTS has a responsibility to administer a
justice system that is accessible to everyone and operates
efficiently.
Our Public Sector client are looking for a
temporary employee to join their team as an admin officer. This is a
temporary role until 04/12/2024- This is very likely to be extended.
This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. The
usual working hours for this role will be around the hours of 8-4/9-5.
The pay rate for this role will start at 11.59 and after 13 weeks it
will increase to 11.88 per hour. Payment is weekly.
This is
fully office based, with no remote or hybrid opportunities due to the
nature of the work. The office is located in Birmingham City Centre -
B4 6QA.
Your role will be to support with administrative tasks
that come alongside the cases. Your day-to-day duties will
include:
- Court resulting
- Dealing with admin processes
including correspondence, reports and checks
- Telephone
queries
- Inbox queries and management
- Communications with
public, judges and magistrates
- Ad hoc admin: filing,
photocopying, scanning etc
The ideal candidate for this role
will be 12-18 months of admin experience within a workplace. Full
training will be provided for this role.
If successful, you
will be subject to a Basic DBS check, due to the nature of the role.
