Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in Doncaster. The pay for this position is £23-£28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.Job Description:Experience Experience working with stroke patients, neuro-degenerative conditions and head injury. Experience in the use and assessment of Alternative and Augmentative communication (AAC).

High level expertise in the assessment, treatment and management of adults with acquired communication disorders. High level expertise in the assessment, treatment and management of adults with dysphagia. Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.

Good Information Technology (IT) knowledge and skills, including use of Microsoft Office software. High level of expertise in interpretation of cognitive neuropsychology including PALPA (Psycholinguistic Assessments of Language Processing in Aphasia) model.
