Role Overview: OFFER SPONSORSHIP
We currently have a vacancy within our East Surrey Team, located in Leatherhead. Unlike other teams, this team does not have a duty function; instead, it focuses on projects aimed at supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autism to transition into independent living and optimizing care packages to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
As a Social Worker in Surrey, you will be involved in various unique projects that aim to provide our valued service users with the opportunity to have a place of their own, where they are supported to lead healthy and meaningful lives.
Shortlisting Criteria:
To be considered for shortlisting for this role, your application must clearly demonstrate the following:
- Your understanding and experience in working with a strengths-based approach.
- Your knowledge and experience of current legislation, such as The Care Act and The Mental Capacity Act.
- Your experience in conducting safeguarding inquiries and examples of using professional judgment in complex situations.
- Completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and registration with Social Work England.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the county to meet the requirements of this role.
