Job Description

As a System Engineer, you will be one of our quality consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the Aeronautical industry. 

As System Engineer, your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Studying, writing & managing system requirements 

  • Translating them into « Technical specifications »  

  • Overseeing product development from concept to deployment from a system engineering perspective 

  • Define the functional architecture and performance of the system 

  • Defining & performing tests for system verification & validation 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Engineering, with a result oriented and proactive mind-set. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a System Engineer and a consultant. 

  • Familiarity with the V-model of systems engineering and its implementation 

  • Previous exposure to working with requirements management software e.g. DOORS 

  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry 

  • Master’s level degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline. 

  • In the context of international projects, a good English level will be necessary.  

  • You are aware that customer satisfaction is at the heart of our business, you are proactive, caring, rigorous, open-minded and have excellent interpersonal skills.
