Fantastic aesthetics/paint opportunity working for a world renowned rolling stock manufacturer, at their Old Oak Common depot in London.

Job title: Aesthetics Technician
Job location: North West London
Hourly pay rate: 20.59 PAYE / 26.23 Umbrella
Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri Days 09:00 - 17:00 (overtime available)
Hours per week: 40
Duration: On-going

Position Summary:
To provide total aesthetics services to the Class 345 train. Must make sure the trains are up to aesthetic standards and ensure that there is no damage to how the trains are visually presented. The work will range from replacing damaged passenger armrest to re painting the interior panels inside the train to ensure contractual standards are met. Your job role will be varied duties and task will include:
* Conduct Class 345 Elizabeth Line - Aesthetic audits to ensure the below aesthetic related items are within tolerance of our contract:
1. Scratch graffiti
2. Non-scratch graffiti
3. Colour and Gloss
4. Corrosion and paint chips
5. Floor Covering
6. Labelling
7. Armrests
8. Handrails and grab hangers
9. Seats
* Rectify any issues on the audits in relation to the above criteria.
* Paint touch ups
* Remove and replace armrests, seat covers.
* Remove and replace sacrificial window films.
* Replace labelling.
* Reporting and recording of defects

Person Profile/Experience:
Experience in vehicle body repairs from prep to paint is required. The ideal person will:
* Must have prior experience with paint touch ups and be able to demonstrate this in an interview.
* Must be able to use reporting devices efficiently like Microsoft forms, excel etc.
* Preferred to have some prior experience with removing and replacing small mechanical parts like armrest, seats etc.
* Preferred to have been apart of an aesthetic team before with set objectives and goals that needed to be met.
* Preferred to have setup an aesthetic team previously so they know what equipment to buy.
