Air Testing Technician

My client is a consultancy that provides multi-disciplinary services related to environmental, energy, and performance testing. They support clients to meet the British standards required for their projects and work with both residential and commercial developers. This role offers a diverse range of projects, allowing for travel to various sites with different stakeholders. Requirements

• An extensive understanding of the building regulations and or the construction industry guidelines
• ATTMA Level 1 or Level 2
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Full UK driving licence
• Good working knowledge of key modelling and IT software packages
• Willingness to travel to different test sites

Duties/Reasonability

• Communicate with site agents and personnel to facilitate smooth and efficient testing procedures
• Conduct tests in accordance with established British standards such as CIBSE TM23:2000, BS EN13829:2001, and ATTMA TSL1 & TSL2
• Determine the test approach based on size and other relevant factors in relation to the projects you will be working on
• Ensure the safe transportation of equipment to and from the test site by vehicle and manually as required
• Generate ATTMA short reports using an electronic system that is both accurate and efficient
• Identify and address any defects that may arise during testing, ensuring that corrective action is taken in a timely and effective manner
• Interpret and evaluate test results as they are obtained, exercising sound judgment and analytical skills to identify any anomalies or issues
