Salary: £24k p/a dependent on experience

37.5 hours per week (Tuesday-Saturday)


Job Role:
This is an exciting time to join the UK’s largest Private Healthcare Teleradiology company based in Hastings, East Sussex. As an Allocation Coordinator, you will be working within the Service delivery team to assign exams across the Elective service line and ensure reports are correctly prioritised. You will join the existing team on a 5-week rolling rota that contains a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.


Key responsibilities of an Allocation Coordinator:

  • Distribute exams on the Elective service to the most appropriate reporters according to clinical specialism, SLA of exam, reporter availability, RIS access and RIS system used.
  • Maximise the volume of exams we can successfully report each day by fully utilising all rostered reporters and contacting those not rostered to encourage the picking up of additional sessions.
  • Monitor and track reporting of exams to minimise the impact of dropped sessions.
  • Perform all tasks related to the clearance of worklists including resolving exam issues, contacting reporters with unreported exams and the reallocation of unreported exams.
  • Proactive service management to ensure key metrics are delivered.
  • Provide feedback on Capacity, Demand and panel suitability.
  • Provide workflow assistance to reporters as required.
  • Ensuring Sameday exams are being reported within SLA in the absence of an Acute administrator and during evenings and weekends when on shift.
  • Maintain professional relationships with reporters.

Job requirements
  • Strong administration skills and IT literacy.
  • Experience of Service Delivery with a strong customer focus.
  • Able to multi-task and refer to multiple data-sources effectively.
  • Used to data manipulation, particularly with Excel.
  • Complaint management experience.
  • Results focused and experience of working towards individual and organisational targets/ KPI’s.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, particularly on the phone and composing emails.
  • Good organisational skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
