Position Overview: 

As the Amazon Account Director at our company, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and leading our Amazon Marketing Team. In this role, you will oversee and direct the performance and strategy of our Amazon clients, leveraging our automated internal systems to drive measurable results. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the success of our clients and our team.


Key Responsibilities: Please note these responsibilities will gradually take effect over the initial 3-6 month onboarding period in which you will get familiarised with the internal system, procedures, clients and team.

  • Oversee and direct the Performance and Strategy of 10-30 Amazon Clients using our Automated Internal Systems.
  • Create and provide training and mentorship to up to 4 Account Managers, who will, in turn, mentor and train 8 specialists within their own teams.
  • Lead Vision Meetings with the team to identify issues, solve problems, and drive innovation by enhancing our work processes and delivering better results.
  • Attend every second or third client meeting alongside the Account Manager to offer feedback and assistance, especially for larger or more complex accounts.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to establish the Quarterly Strategic vision for clients and ensure the high-level implementation of these strategies.
  • Manage client relationships to maintain and improve Client Churn and Amazon Performance.
  • Maintain accountability for Account Managers and their respective teams regarding Performance-related KPIs, including Churn, Client Sales Performance, Client Satisfaction, Content Quality, and other Role-Specific KPIs.

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of different aspects of the business, including organisational processes, customer needs, market trends, and their impact on advertising decision-making.
  • Evolve into a mentor and advisor for colleagues across various departments, including IT, Advertising, Brand Management, Human Resources, Creatives, and Sales.
  • Establish a strong reputation in the Amazon Industry by engaging in content Creation.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • You should possess knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, have agency experience, be comfortable with technology, be independent and people-focused, and have a passion for Amazon sales.
  • Desired 3+ years of experience with Amazon Seller Central. Familiarity with all aspects of Seller Central is crucial.
  • 2 years of agency experience, as navigating numerous demands and prioritising agency aspects effectively is crucial.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience, including direct reports and team management. Comfortably leading a team and assisting staff in overcoming challenges is essential. Experience in hiring, performance management, and anticipating agency needs is expected.
  • Proficiency in workplace tools such as Google Meet, Slack, and Asana (or similar platforms).
  • Excellent project management skills and a genuine passion for it.
  • Comfortable taking responsibility for client accounts, conducting client calls, and maintaining regular communication to boost their Amazon sales.
