BACKGROUND


CafePod was set up in 2011 by 2 friends to bring some much-needed change to the world of coffee. Consumer coffee habits were in the throes of being upended & they saw this as a great opportunity to take the lead in coffee at home.

Over the last few years, we’ve created a solid base of advocates who love our great award-winning products. Covid has changed the world & the coffee landscape & with more people than ever drinking coffee at home, we are well positioned & excited to help usher in new era. Our ultimate ambition is to be the UK’s go-to brand for coffee at home.


THE ROLE


We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Amazon Specialist to manage & grow this exciting channel within the CafePod business


Over the past two years, our Amazon business has seen remarkable growth, and we are seeking a highly skilled Amazon Specialist to further accelerate this growth trajectory.

As the Amazon Specialist at CafePod, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Amazon UK business. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to lead our presence in the Amazon marketplace.


LOCATION


We are a UK-based fully remote team.

We used to have an office. We gave it up during Covid and have never looked back! Now, the team is spread up & down the country. By being a remote team, we’ve got the great opportunity to work with talented people across the UK.


RESPONSIBILITIES


The Amazon Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, development & growth of the Amazon account.


  • Lead the growth of our Amazon UK business, ensuring the delivery of forecasted volume and profit (P&L responsibility)
  • Manage the Amazon 3P platform, driving sales and margin optimisation
  • Take ownership of Amazon PPC Ads, optimising campaigns to meet and exceed KPIs and ROI goals
  • Oversee the Amazon catalogue, launching new products and optimising existing listings to maximise visibility and sales
  • Manage product reviews & seller feedback to enable growth and listing perfection.
  • Implement promotions and deals to drive sales
  • Monitor and report on sales and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to optimise stock availability and ensure seamless fulfilment
  • Stay updated with all developments within the Amazon ecosystem and actively explore additional avenues for growth
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the Amazon business ecosystem


EXPERIENCE & SKILLS


  • 3 Years Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central account management
  • Experience working with Amazon FBA
  • Prior experience in an Ecommerce/Marketplace Executive role
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the Amazon advertising ecosystem
  • Action-oriented individual with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Sharp financial acumen to effectively manage the P&L
  • Proficiency in data analysis and critical thinking to drive informed decision-making
  • Tenacious with strong problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Seeks perfection in our products and their listings. Has a good eye for detail for product branding, imagery and copywriting.
  • Experience setting up and selling on Amazon US is a plus

REMOTE WORKING REQUIREMENTS


The role does require you to have the appropriate space and environment at home to perform the role to the required standard. Equipment and tools required to perform the role will be supplied by us. You will be required to travel monthly to meet with the team in London. You will also be required to travel to visit customers & suppliers in the UK when needed.
