Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our healthcare team as an Ambulance Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to medical facilities while providing excellent customer service and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey. This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.

Skills:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and emergency services personnel

- Compassionate nature and ability to provide emotional support to patients during transportation

Responsibilities:

- Safely drive the ambulance vehicle following designated routes or as directed by dispatchers or medical personnel.

- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety guidelines at all times.

- Assist in the loading and unloading of patients into the ambulance using proper lifting techniques.

- Secure patients safely inside the ambulance using appropriate restraints or equipment.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ambulance vehicle at all times.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical personnel, or other drivers via two-way radio or phone regarding patient information or changes in transportation plans.

- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transportation while maintaining their dignity.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent education required.

- Valid driver's license issued by GB authorities with no history of major traffic violations within the past three years.

-Must hold current Emergency First Aid certification (or willing to obtain it).

-Prior experience as an ambulance driver preferred but not required; entry-level candidates are welcome.
