£45,000 - £65,000

Their data community is cross-functional, with members from Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Data Engineering, all working together to provide top-quality sporting and outdoor gear to enthusiasts worldwide.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this Analytics Engineer role, you will:

• Automate and scale datasets aligned with specific use cases, facilitating seamless integration into operational workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models using dbt, ensuring the efficient transformation of raw data into actionable insights.
• Build and optimize query pipelines in dbt and SQL to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a structured format suitable for analysis.
• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau to effectively communicate insights derived from the data.
• Ensure the stability of exposed data over time.
• Uphold the reliability of exposed data and implement measures to sustain its integrity.

THE EXPERIENCE

To qualify for this Analytics Engineer role, you will require:

• Proficiency in Advanced SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience managing dbt (Data Build Tool) for building and maintaining data transformation pipelines.
• Ability to build Tableau dashboards for data visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) for data storage and processing.
• Basic knowledge of Python for automation tasks is advantageous.
• Experience with Databricks is a plus.
