Anaplan Specialist


Role Overview


Our client is in search of an Anaplan Specialist to join their newly established Anaplan Centre of Excellence.


The chosen candidate will take on the responsibility of Anaplan modelling and leadership, focusing on the enhancement of existing models and the development of new use cases. We seek an individual with a blend of finance and reporting expertise, possessing a strong background in Anaplan modelling and the ability to independently gather requirements and translate them into effective Anaplan solutions.


Collaboration will be key in this role, as the chosen candidate will work closely with various departments including Fund Control, Technology, Operations, and Business Development. Reporting to the Lead Anaplan Solution Architect based in the US, this position offers an exciting opportunity to drive business performance through innovative Anaplan solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Lead Anaplan Solution Architect to enhance and maintain existing Anaplan models.
  • Engage with different business units to expand Anaplan modeling capabilities and foster a connected planning ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the development of automated, dynamic reporting environments involving Anaplan and its outputs.
  • Partner with colleagues across the organisation to identify process improvements and address pain points.
  • Provide recommendations for optimising current business processes.
  • Communicate progress and initiatives effectively to management.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in Anaplan outputs.


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Over 4 years' of experience working with Anaplan.
  • Preferably certified as a solution architect.
  • Proficiency in data integration tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, SQL).
  • Experience with interconnected Anaplan models and understanding of connected planning principles.
  • Knowledge of Credit Fund operating models is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Capability to translate business requirements into Anaplan functionality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Capacity to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and experience collaborating with business users.


This role will require 3 days in their London offices.
