Thank you for your interest in a work experience placement at Anglian Water. We're delighted you are considering us!

Anglian Water... we’re much more than just water and poo!  We’re a company with over 5,000 employees, 3,000 Alliance partners and we provide water and water recycling services to  over 6 million customers across the East of England.

Short term work experience is a great opportunity to explore the workplace first hand and our placements all have one thing in common - they provide a fantastic opportunity to develop your employability skills!

Placement managers can support with CV hints and tips and help you identify your transferable skills for future job applications. Placements are likely to include team working, problem solving, working on your own initiative, communication skills, and will require self motivation throughout the placement.

A typical placement will be either one or two weeks long, so please let us know your preference when registering your interest.

Brand & Communications - including Social Media, Marketing and Public Relations

Finance - including tax, treasury and insurance

Health & Safety - safety alerts, management and reporting

People & Change - including Recruitment, Payroll, Reward, HR Systems and Training and Development

Sustainability - social responsibility and the community

Science - within our Laboratories

Peterborough

Operations and Engineering - within Water Services and Water Recycling

Information Technology - including cyber security, service delivery, project delivery

Lincoln

Customer Services - including our Call Centre for billing and collections, the Contact Team and Tactical Operations

Water Parks

Leisure & Hospitality - through our Water Parks at Rutland and Grafham

In addition to the above, please be aware that our main offices are in Lincoln, Peterborough and Huntingdon and can be accessed by public transport. However our operational placements could be at water treatment or water recycling centres all across the region and may not be as easily reached by public transport. Therefore please identify your ability to travel on our questionnaire when applying.
