Location: Cambridge (CB24)
Duration: Ongoing with potential to become permanent
Hours: 8am until 4pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £13 per hour

Polytec are looking for a Soldering Technician / Assembler for our client based a few miles north of Cambridge. You will need to have excellent soldering skills and good general board assembly skills.

Responsibilities:

* Soldering PCBs to a high standard
* Mechanical assembly
* Basic ATE (automated test equipment) test of finished products
* Packing of finished products

Requirements:

* Solid soldering experience, surface mount skills would be a bonus
* Good electro-mechanical build skills
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions clearly and accurately
* Ability to work well independently or as an active member of a team
* PC literate, familiar with Microsoft Office
