TeamJobs is working with our client based in Poole who is looking for an additional Mechanical Assembler join their team permanently.
Duties will include:
Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions and established procedures.
Ensure all assembled components meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Identify and rectify any assembly defects.
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Follow all safety regulations and procedures
Assist with the maintenance of assembly tools and equipment
Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical Assembly role or a related field (or willingness to learn).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong understanding of mechanical assembly
- Good problem solving skills
Working hours:
- 39 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible working times
