Asset and Wealth Management Division 

Asset and Wealth Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). The purpose of the European Shareholder Services team is to provide World Class Client Service to Investors in the GSAM Offshore Funds and to assist the GSAM Sales force in their Global Funds distribution effort. Within European Shareholder Services, Client Onboarding works with clients investing GSAM's Offshore funds from the decision to invest through to funding, ensuring a smooth and seamless onboarding process.
 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

The role is within the Platform Support area of the ESS team working on process improvements, providing business support, responding to reporting requirements, coordinating enhancements, and client or platform implementations. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

  • Implementation of automated trading, settlement, reporting and service solutions to investors
  • Increasing automation, scalability, and outsourcing of tasks to external vendors with appropriate controls and cost efficiencies 
  • Providing support in the resolution of daily issues and reporting requirements
  • Co-ordination of new product launches and set-up on internal and external systems and platforms, working closely with distribution services, product development and the funds group teams
  • The candidate will be required to work with people at all levels within the division and cover both day to day and project related tasks
  • Ensure accuracy of data quality flowing downstream with other teams within shareholder services
  • Provide consistent updates to management on ongoing initiatives
  • Maintaining a relationship with vendors and fund platforms as the main point of contact

     

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with good academic record or equivalent gained through relevant work experience
  • High level of accuracy and the ability to maintain this standard whilst under pressure 
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and multi-tasking skills with ability to set own priorities 
  • Highly motivated and independent but also able to work within a team
  • Exposure to a fast paced environment with the need to remain in control of different items
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks as necessary  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of open ended mutual funds
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the finance/asset management industry
