Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit an Asset Manager on a 7-month contract working 2-3 days per week for its London site.

The Asset Manager role comes with a flexible day rate depending on experience.

Solar or Battery Storage experience is essential for this role.




Key skills

Supervising a diverse array of solar parks to guarantee their optimal performance, production output, and profitability.

Collaborating with the internal Operations and Maintenance (O&M) department to oversee all operational facets of solar assets.

Deploying and managing monitoring and reporting systems to monitor the operational efficiency of solar parks, swiftly addressing any performance issues to enhance energy output.

Upholding adherence to contractual agreements, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), permits, and regulatory mandates throughout the portfolio.

Directing budgetary management, cost control initiatives, and revenue optimization strategies, with a focus on analysing financial metrics and implementing cost-effective measures.

Identifying and mitigating operational and financial risks linked to solar asset management.

Cultivating and sustaining relationships with diverse stakeholders such as investors, clients, regulatory bodies, and local communities.

Ensuring strict compliance with environmental and safety regulations pertinent to project operations.

Spearheading a team comprised of asset managers, engineers, and support personnel, offering guidance, training, and assistance as necessary.
