Asset Manager

Porton Down, Salisbury - SP4

Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Salary - up to £38,000

We're looking for an Asset Manager to work for one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK based out of a static healthcare facility in Porton Down, Salisbury.

As a Asset Manager, you will responsible for ensuring asset information is present, correct and up to date on the computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Reviews and collates all documentation for servicing and critical spares and maintains appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results or completed work. 

Job Responsibilities for an Asset Manager:

      Liaising closely with project team to identify assets to be onboarded and ensure all information is present.

Check with sites  Logistics Manager weekly to assess assets that require on boarding.

Provide details to EEF Managers to locate assets - whether on site, in stores or awaiting delivery.

Liaise with lab users if items have been delivered without data recording and labelling.

Identify and record serial numbers, model numbers, PAT Number, Oracle requisition and PO numbers and ensure Maximo match the information.

Assess whether it is advisable to stock spares by information received from manufacturer or technicians that work on the system daily.

Loading of asset data, manufacturer details onto the database and in liaison with the Operations Engineers schedule maintenance.

In liaison with the EEF Managers determine the level of detail required within job plans.

The provision of reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis to the Equipment Support Manager & Operations Manager.

To monitor outstanding maintenance routines and where necessary highlight problem areas to the Equipment Support Manager.

Control and maintain the equipment numbering system and the issue of Equipment/Asset Labels. Record the movement of plant as and when it arises.

In discussion with Equipment Support Manager, update maintenance routines and frequencies as required.

Carry out critical spares assessments inclusive of; sourcing prices from suppliers, receiving quotes and delivery times for items.

Ensuring that complete records are kept for GMP/GLP COSHH and statutory plant and equipment, which require a full-service history
