Working within a large Construction Group with this being one of many branches UK wide. My client is a well-known and successful distributor and building products. They are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join their team.
£3500- 40k a year- Negotiable
Full-time, Permanent (Hours 6.30-3.30 or 7.00-4.00) Mon – Friday

Responsibilities:
Essential:
- To assist the Branch Manager in the day to day running of the branch.
- Assist and oversee with all Operations of the business
- Ensure our customers receive an excellent service.
- Management of Administration, Sales, Driver and Warehouse Teams.
- Train, develop, support and motivate your team.
- Help to build branch sales and profits;
- Staffing and recruitment
- Run an efficient and effective operation by managing the stock and properly utilising your vehicles
- Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures, ensuring all mandatory training is completed and the branch is a safe place to work.
- Manging the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Person Specification:
- Strong character with career aspirations to become Branch Manager in the future.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of managing people.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a sales or customer service role.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- IT Literate to a high standard
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The ability to provide a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Flexible in attendance
- Full clean driving licence
