Job Description

Mai sushi  are recruiting an Full Time Assistant Chef Manager to come and join our team at M&S in 10 Pond Street Hampstead, London, NW3 2PS

And have: 

Natural leadership which can build confidence and capability in your colleagues enabling them to learn and perform their job role 

Ready to work in fast paced environment, always leading by example 

Pride in your work, constantly looking for ways to improve and continually learning 

A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, ability to follow brand standards and comply with company policies. 

Reliable transportation for your commute to work early in the morning 

And able to: 

Accountability for the Kiosk and the team in the manager's absence, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations while on shift 

Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves 

Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning 

Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift 

Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance each shift around food safety and allergen compliance. 

A skilled multitasker, who will support the Chef Manager by placing weekly orders, completing daily stock rotation and assisting the monthly stock take process. 

An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days 

Looking to learn new skills or improve skills already mastered, this might be your first step into management
