Role - ASSISTANT COST ACCOUNTANT c£25k - £42k (DOE)+ Bonus + Benefits

• MONDAY - FRIDAY 9.00am - 5.00pm

Our client is a leader in their field and due to continued growth are now looking for a Cost Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to work in a friendly work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure allocation of all supplier invoices against consumables, bought in products, against client orders.
• Ensure supplier price conformity Vs agreed pricing on our current Management Information Service.
• Working with Directors Identify trends and areas for margin improvement.
• Develop sales margin calculation reporting.
• Develop margin control procedures, policies via our MIS system.
• Reclaim costs from supplier underperformance.
• Manage sales personnel expenses and commissions.
• Develop purchase order policies and supplier compliance procedures.
• ID improved stock control and month end stock take procedures to reduce time.
