Full Job Description

Lilienblum is our Israeli / modern Mediterranean family style sharing restaurant, which opened in May 2023 in Shoreditch. We are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager to join the team. The restaurant is open Tuesday - Friday for lunch and dinner and then Saturday dinner only. The restaurant is then available for private hire on Sundays and Mondays.

Your key responsibilities will be to manage the front of house team during service whilst overseeing all guests and VIP's, making sure every one enjoys a unique, fun and personalised service. 

The Role 

  • You will be a confident, polite and energetic individuals with at least 3 year’s management experience in high-volume, high-quality restaurants
  • You will be responsible for managing and leading your team on a day-to-day basis, whilst also ensuring the highest quality of customer service and food and drink service throughout the restaurant
  • You will have fantastic communications skills and ability to adapt to different situations, opportunities and challenges
  • You will train and support the team; provide service briefings and liaise between the kitchen and the floor
  • You will make sure the restaurant is open and closed professionally and safely
  • Commitment to work with a great time both front and back of house
  • Professional understanding and knowledge of all Health & Safety rules and hygiene standards
  • You will have a passion and interest in the hospitality industry
  • You will be reporting to the General Manager
